There was a really big mod for Battlefield 2 called Project Reality that had all types of factions, the IDF were in that. I mean there's a sole cosmetic expansion for finno-ugric cultures in Crusader kings II. And the winter war/continuation war mod for Battlefield 1942 was really popular during it's time and some circles still play it.
