Despite our differences, we all have one point in common on this site: we speak English.
So, Why did you learn English
and what do you think about this language?

I learned in English to speak with autists online because I have no friends
I don't think this language is specially good I could speak anything else if it was needed

>Why did you learn English
school forced me, moron
>what do you think about this language?
it's a shitfest, there's so many words that aren't even english, and pronunciation is fucked up

don't get me wrong, i still love the language, but it should be replaced by anglish
obligatory curriculum, along with spending too much time online.

Video games - initially they were both the reason and the means of learning. Mainly PS1 era jRPGs. And I didn't have internet back then - just a huge-ass Oxford dictionary that also explained grammatical points.

Overall I like it, though I swear, Russian might have more things in common with Japanese than with English. Grammatically it's very different from Russian, and even though there are often days when I hear and read more English than my native language, I still struggle to formulate sentences myself.

Yeah, I like how people make fun of French for that, when it actually has rules for spelling and pronunciation, which it follows. English is just pure chaos in that regard.
