Definitely it's French cos it's the world's most fancy language and most of the African countries adopted French as their official language while Italian is only spoken in Italy. If you're planning on learning Spanish then it can be a good choice to learn Italian otherwise you gotta go with French I suppose

In practical sense, I guess it's Spanish cos it's the world's most spoken language apart from Chinese which's only spoken in mainland China and Taiwan. As you might know, Spanish is spoken all over South America and Spain and a few other countries. The more people speak it, the better it is for sure.

Learn chinese or japanese.

European languages are useless, they all speak English.

If you learn french spanish and english, you can talk to nearly everyone in the world.

More people will speak french in the future than spanish. Having said that, French and Spanish are close so learn either first, but learn both.
