Serious question lads why does fascism get such a bad rap but socialism/communism get let off pretty scot free? Are the views that Mosley espouses in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-j1Dg2nKKY) not basically Marxist ideals i.e. anti-capitalist exploitation of the worker?

well birmingham was the industrial centere of the entire planet, it is home to the most important innovations of the industrial age and was renown as the city of a 1000 trades.
however because the north was lagging behind and because birmingham in the 1930s was a model of civic pride that put london to shame (reminder that london is not an impressive city in a historical sense outside of being designated the capital), the government had determined that the correct action was to reroute industry in birmingham to the north, whilst decreasing birmingham's population.
An example of this could be the story of a guy who owned a factory, besides a vacant one. He asked for permission to buy the vacant neighbouring one, however was told he could not use it and would instead have to buy a factory in telford. In the process of expanding to telford the cost of transporting too and fro from telford of course made it unprofitable to expand.
These industries which had created a milieau of innovation and expertise throughout birmingham and the black coutnry were suddenly appearing in random towns where they were not destined to gain a great foothold.
Unfortunately the decline of british industry, coincided with the rise of asian substitution of industry. However why was Germany managed to retain its industry, but not the UK? The reason is that the expertise and innovation that had been clustering in birmingham was destroyed, and so British industry was no longer at the cutting edge.
The north stayed poor
Birmingham became a destitute shithole
and the UK's economy went from producing things of value, to being based on the actions of a few men dicking about in the City of London.
Birmingham's fate is britain's fate.

Digbeth/Deritend are arguably the only part of the middleway part of birmingham that retained its original character (edgbaston also sort of did but sort of didn't) - even then its disconnected from small heath/sparkbrook proper because of that stupid motorway.
Digbeth is up and coming though, as its a shithole but with proximity to some good stuff + has a good historical character its the only part of the 0121 which is gentrifiable. Even though highgate, aston, balsall heath, small heath and sparkbrook should all be too (were it not for the shitty planning)

Our disenchantment with the internet is a fact. Yet again, enlightenment does not bring us liberation but depression. The once fabulous aura that surrounded our beloved apps, blogs, and social media has deflated. Swiping, sharing, and liking have begun to feel like soulless routines, empty gestures. We’ve started to unfriend and unfollow, yet we can’t afford to delete our accounts, as this implies social suicide. If “truth is whatever produces most eyeballs,” as Evgeny Morozov states, a general click strike seems like the only option left.
But since this is not happening, we feel trapped and console ourselves with memes.
The multi-truth approach of identity politics, according to Slavoj Žižek, has produced a culture of relativism.
Chomsky’s process of “manufacturing consent” has taken hold completely. As Žižek explains in a British TV interview, the Big Other has vanished. There is no BBC World Service anymore, the moderate radio voice that once provided us with balanced opinions and reliable information. Every piece of information is self-promotion, crafted by public-relations managers and spin doctors—and by us users as well (we are our own marketing interns). What’s collapsing right now is the imagination of a better life. It is no longer the “wretched of the earth” who revolt, because they’ve got nothing left to lose, but rather the stagnating middle class and “young professionals,” who face permanent precarity.
Wish 4chan and reddit would just merge already

Pseudo-events have no chronology, no development, no beginning or middle, let alone an end. We’re beyond the terminal process, beyond the postmodern patchwork. Everything accelerates. This must be the twenty-first-century-style catastrophe that so many films have introduced us to. Still, we remain encapsulated, captured inside cybernetic loops that go nowhere, in which meaningless cycles of events, series, and seasons pass by. What happens when the anxiety of information saturation flips into a profound feeling of emptiness? Once we’ve passed this point, the digital neither disappears nor ends. Events simply no longer turn into Roman spectacles. Instead, we experience simulacrum as prime reality. We cannot process such a sudden overproduction of reality. We no long turn on television news thinking that we’re watching a film. We’ve moved on. It is not life that has become cinematographic; it is film scenarios and their affects that shape the grand designs of our technological societies. Films anticipated our condition, and now we’re situated in the midst of yesteryear’s science fiction. Minority Report is now a techno-bureaucratic reality, driven by the integration of once-separate data streams. Virtual reality feels like The Matrix. Trump’s reality TV show proved to be a rehearsal. The logic of the avant-garde is very much alive. The last industry to deal with the fake and real whirlpool is the news industry. Hyperreality becomes our everyday situation—regardless of whether we perceive it as boring or absurd.

Ok
Moseley and Kings Heath: Middle Class guardian reading part of birmingham, but also contain a good dollop of under class. The former is mostly renown as an area for night-life. Kings heath goes from a village area, to a suburban area with big houses to a fully blown estate on the edge of birmingham
Harborne: Similarly middle class albeit without the same leftist streak. known as a leisure area too but without the same nightlife as moseley
Quinton/Bartley Green/Weoley Castle/Northfield/Kings Norton/west heath: 100% residential, ranges from white working class to white middle class. Kings Norton has a bit of a historic village square but that is very small. Quinton and Bartley green feel particularly like the middle of nowhere
Bourneville: Interesting area. Very nice suburban area made by the cadbury family. nice terraced houses, nice houses with gardens and greenery and some nice buildings. Bit dead besides looking nice though. middle middle class.
Stirchley/Cotteridge: old rows of houses full of working class people.
Selly Oak: Student town with the university and a posh school, has some alright bars and i guess a few young urban professionals live there because of the hospital/uni/not too far from the city.
Edgbaston: leafy, can't see anyones homes, nice park (cannon hill), nice old georgian? buildings along the road. as it approaches towards the city centre gets a bit fucked over by the middleway.
Ladywood: slum besides the main nightclub and area of birmingham (broadstreet). lots of black people living in tower blocks. also where the reservoir is and some interesting dystopic post-industrial factories along the canal.
hall green, shirley, solihull:
Hall green and shirley are middle class 1930s suburbs. pretty boring and bogstandard but nice and leafy, has a waitrose. Solihull is a posh (read noveau riche brummies) area with lots of green leafy areas, big houses and a sort of soulelss sort of historical market town centre. has some country
