People will accept criticism from one of their own more than from an outsider. My family has lived in America for 400 years, so if anybody has a right to criticize America, it's me. Why does America have a culture of mediocrity? Our houses are not built square, our knives are dull, our national cuisine is cheap fast food, our beer is watery, our cars wear out fast, and even our guns are inferior to European guns. We have a culture of mediocrity. What is it about the American spirit that makes us settle for less?
Didn't have enough time to really develop communities and culture before industrialization and consumerism.

It's true though. We have more than 14,000 McDonald's in America. Have you seen the sorry excuses for burgers they serve? If I go out to eat, I want a thick, juicy delicious burger, not those sad little blobs of grease they sell at McDildoes.

so go somewhere else you fucking dumbass
or move to a state with its own culinary culture instead of latching onto muh burgers for identity

Why can't we just have a little pride in workmanship in this country? We're just as capable as Europeans.

Zoning (rather than policy) based regulations (among a lot of other things) make rural living less sustainable leading to a brain drain towards population centers.

European shit products are not exported in the US and you just don't realize it.
