Walmart bought nearly every supermarket chain here in Rio Grande do Sul, some still maintain their original names but the house products inside are GreatValue. Mcdonalds only at the mall, but I'm a relatively poor city, so people can't afford this kind of stuff regularly, only once per month.

In terms of Americanization it's 100% now, thanks to mobile internet people literally strive to dress and live like Americans. We're filled with pink and purple haired girls and guys with undercut wearing flannel shirts which were literally unheard of until the internet went mainstream.
