me capable of job
please adopt
I'd love to have a good Russian on my team at work, but all I get applications from are lazy millennials that have been out of school for two years and had five jobs.

wake up grandpa its 2017 job security isn't a thing anymore. Jumping through jobs is how you survive

I'm not that guy, but I'm in the same spot.
Just did interviews for a jr. dev position last week and millennials are so fucking retarded. One guy came in and started whining about losing his job and wife and 3 kids (mind you he must've been like 25-30yo) after bombing technical questions.
Ended up hiring an autistic poo2loo.

Do you know how to hack computers?
I may have a job for you...

My boss is Russian and I am CHI, my workplace is for non-whites only.
>>77826118
but we are technically Asians

I guess that's what they figure, but what they'll find out is no one will want to make a real investment in them with training (or salary) if they have a history of jumping around.

No job is completely safe, but if I got laid off tomorrow or had some reason to change, my resume would show that I have a history of sticking with companies for a long time and likely be someone that would stick around/be worth investing time and money into. But that's because every time some recruiter calls me offering a job for a bit more I don't jump ship.

I've been hiring boomers mostly. A lot of them can't retire just yet but they end up being pretty reliable and just looking for stability.
>>77826200
I know.
I said we are non-whites only, and asians are non-white.

Boomers suck at tech unfortunately, but I would hire an oldfag with no experience over a millennial with a 1 year stint at Google.
I just can't respect a person who works at a place less than 3 years.

I'm in manufacturing so thankfully can choose from an older workforce if needed.
My friend runs an advertising firm and he gets it the worst. Kids out of school wanting 80k per year because that's what their professors said they are worth, then they figure out they are worth maybe 50 after turning down a few jobs, and they bounce around annually because recruiters grab them on linkedin for ten bucks more to make a placement and collect a fee
