Did any one else take latin classes as a child? I was forced to in Catholic primary school, I don't remember much since I learned Spanish and spanish sort of took its place when words were similar. Just curious if its taught in other countries too?

Don't think anyone learns latin unless they want to be an arrogant intellectual hipster or it has something to do with your job. Don't know anyone who's actually taken classes of it though.

I don't mean people who chose to learn Latin, I knew a lot of other --Catholic-- children who were forced to learn Latin as small boys so we could "be closer to God's word" when we read scriptures.
