In Buenos Aires and many cities of Argentina there is a Chinese minimarket like that of Apu from the Simpsons every 5 blocks.
These Chinese who work in minimarkets have to make payments to the bands that brought them out of China, if not they get killed. Every year there are 2 or 3 cases of Chinese mafia executing Chinese minimarket workers.

In the past the guilty ones were never discovered, because, the police doesnt know chinese, chinese people are too afraid to collaborate, and argentines dont care because it only affects the chinese community.

But since the change of government there has been progress and some bands of Chinese smugglers were captured.
