We eat boiled pigs feet, and they are uber delicious. Very low in fat, lots of gelatine which is good at any age. Never had pickled feet tho.

They are nothing like chicken feet. Those are basically bones with a tiny layer of cartilage and skin on them. Quite messy to eat, not much profit

If you ever ate boiled pig's head or boiled pigs skin in any manner, it's that. Sounds awfull I know, but believe me it has a flavor that is hard to replicate. It's like mushrooms. You can't replicate the taste of mushrooms. It has something savory and earthy that I can't describe probably because of the lack of vocabulary. Anyway, if you ever find cheap pigs feet, just boild them with laurel, garlic, comino, paprika and salt in equal parts for an hour (if you have a preassure cooker 30 minutes tops), and eat with a salsa made with diced onions, cilantro, your favorite hot sauce, lemon juice and a little splash of vinegar. Heaven. It's messy (no fork nor knife), and eat it hot, warm tops. If it gets cold you wont be able to get all the gelatine. Btw, if you workout, you should be eating this once a week. Recovering time between sets speeds up. The same if you are runnning more than 15k per week
