I studied law. My degree is largely useless abroad.
Plus the pros and cons of moving to America kind of cancel each other out.
The Netherlands isn't exactly a bad place to live.

Currently trying to make my own income so I can live wherever I want on this planet. But getting into the USA without being employed by someone else is kind of hard. So I think I'll move to Spain once I'm set.

Good luck getting a working permit.

i don't particularly like how extroverted most americans seem to be, but perhaps that's a generalisation
and anyway, money isn't everything. i just want to lead a comfortable life, not an extortionate one.

What did you study? It's not like Italy is 2nd world, so I'm surprised, unless it's some medical degree. I imagine every country is different when it comes to medicine, or law like Dutch poster said.
