I liked The Killer better. it had a really well done good guys bad guys setting. i dont think any other movie has made me sympathise with a villain that deeply. hard boiled was more about the action and less about the message imo.

idk i found the tone in a better tomorrow to be bit all over the place sometimes being bit too wacky and lighthearthed and other times super dramatic and violent. killer had a constant menacing tone to it at all times which makes it rise slightly above better tomorrow

We were crushing it in the mid-late 60s and early 70s though. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd etc. Some of it may be overrated but it's still awesome stuff.
