It not like I`m a expert about tourisim in japan but I will try.
1.Its good to check the way of public transportation in japan. Its takes time and its not easy to search it. Also the trains are really really complex.The number of wifi is not much too.

2.not many people can speak english. In rural places, even tavel guides cant speak them.
Its good if you had some book that has list
of japanes speakings.

3.Not all shops can use credit cards. Better to have lots of actuall Yen.
