Where does this idea that Ilbe users are insane racists/nationalists even come from? That better describes "normal," "good" Koreans than it does Ilbe users.

Ilbe users are loyal to the Republic of Korea. They have some loyalty to the Koreans as a tribe, but they aren't completely blind to reality, and are willing to work with the US, Japan, and other friendly countries to protect South Korea's current prosperity. They are essentially non-racist, and only dislike North Koreans and Chinese-Koreans (Chosunjok) because they have been indoctrinated by communism, and pose a long-term demographic threat to the future of the Republic of Korea as a state. They revere Park Cheung-hee for having industrialized Korea despite his past as a Japanese military officer, which displays their admirable pragmatism. While loyal to their own people, they also admire and respect Japan for its undeniable success, and the United States too, for having nurtured the infant Republic of Korea and also for its traditions of political and economic freedom. They are somewhat anti-feminist, but only because they revere freedom and actual fairness.

By contrast, "normal," "good" Koreans are an emotional, indoctrinated pile of shit. They are full of a shitty victim complex against everyone else, they hate anyone doing better than them whether it's rich people or chaebols or Westerners or the Japanese. They are so blinded by class resentment that they will support literal communists if they hold out hope of bringing down their betters. They are just asking to be sent to the gulag by North Koreans or China, meanwhile poor Ilbe users who are hated by society are actually doing their best to save a shitty fucked up people who hate them.
