I always combined both the Lego SYSTEM (bricks and yellow dudes) and Technic (which was bionicle, disk flinging lizards...), made wonders

I didnt know much english back then, it was 99 to 2000, only a year since they were introduced and ceased.
It was what many kids first got from the Technic group of Lego

I used to be obsessed with bionicle
I would make custom ones out of all the pieces

I had a blue one from some series because blue is my fave color. Turned out later it was supposed to be female which is confusing since they're robots.

I can't remember where did it end up.

I once made the Predator from the movie with bionicle and a some SYSTEM bricks. Used rubber bands as Predators 'hair' or tubes.
Then Alien vs Predator came out and i also had to make the Alien.
I had 3 buckets full of all kinds of lego's but also baked my own custom Technic pieces from this clay thing my mom had, like play-dough but gets hard as rock once you bake it in the oven.
Molding was the hardest part but i used other lego peaces and a ruler for perfect 90 degree angles.

I will tell you guys a story
I was in year 3 and those 2nd generation bionicles or whatever you call them had come out. The ones that put their head forward to attack. They were pretty cool. My friend had got one and was pretty proud of it.
At the time there was also Bionicles happy meals at McDonalds, and I'd got myself one. They were these puny littles ones that fought by swiveling the legs back and forth.
I fought my friends Super Bionicle with my maccas one and beat him. He was super pissed off and it was quite sad.
Well, this is the same friend that I played yugioh with over the GBA. He was also super pissed when he found out Mystical Space Typhoon doesn't acually counter your spell or trap. And then when I was about to beat him he pulled out the cable and pretended something had gone wrong.
Come to think of it he was a very sore loser.

Does anyone remember Beyblades?
My whole class laughed when my 60 year old teacher referred to them as "gayblades".
Anyway it was funny, one year we were all into them and playing with them in lunch time, but they were quickly forgotten
But then the next year those little beyblade tazos in the chip packets came out and we played with them instead.
