Hmm shes asleep now. But there is not a single universal goulash recipe. Its very simple food so people add their own ingredients that they like. In our family we dont like spicy for example. Its hard to fuck up this food it will taste good anyways its like pizza

Yeah I made a reduced stew version for my first try. So just cooked down a lot. Got the meat wrong though and it was sort of tough but overcooked. But of a shame really.

Used like way too much paprika and it was the type of recipe where you coat the meat in the spices and fry it. Was actually pretty nice but I mean at the end of the day a recipe like that is just a kilo of flavoured meat. I want a nice wholesome soup with lots of veggies and nutrients

You dun goofed, there's no need to preseason the meat for gulyás. Of course you burnt the paprika and it got sour. Rookie mistake.
First you fry the onions, then you add the meat and fry it too, and when it's not pink anymore, but like brownish, you add the parika, and fry the mixture only a bit, and then you add the water so you don't burn the paprika.

we eat alot of meat, well those who can afford it, sometimes stews, sometimes roasted, sometimes schnitzel type
also alot of pasta, grenadiermarsch, pasta with cabbage, pasta with ham etc
