Kvass basically is fermented bread.
It has less than 1% of alcohol and therefore is not considered an alcohol drink.

Just depend the meal, the season and where you are in Spain (northen or southern):

No alcohol:
Gazpacho
Horchata

Light tier:
Sangria
Sherry/Fino
Rebujito
Cava
Tinto de verano
Sidra

Heavy tier:
Aguardiente
Brandy
Txakolin
Patxaran
Anis
Orujo

And then of course just normal red wine and beer.
>>
>>77540088
It's supposed to be
>>
Sangría I guess. It's what you drink with your mates and those girls you just met on the beach, as you all celebrate life and youth together on this warm summer night. You all know what I'm talking about, right?

Why not make it your own?
There are different kinds of kvass (black, white, red). Only black one is made from actual bread, the other ones are made from flour.

3 litres of kvass black (bread):
1) Half a loaf of bread. Cut into cubes, dry it off in an oven. Any bread, with the exception of white will do.

2) put the dried bread into a vessel of sufficient volume

3) add 4 table spoons of sugar

4) add 3 litres of hot water

5) wait for it to cool off

6) add 1 tea spoon of yeast, stir well

7) add 1 tea spoon of raisins

8) leave it be for 24 hours in room conditions. Don't close the lid tight, the gasses have to escape.

9) filter through fabric\coffee filter\gauze

10) pour into bottles of desired size, add two or three raisins into each bottle

11) leave for 6 hours in a fridge

12) drink

caipirinha
>>
>>77540756
our recipe is pretty much same here, but we filter before pitching yeast
and i've lived my whole life in knowledge that the oven is used to kill off any naturally occurring yeast and fungi in the bread and also give it a mild burnt character
