Yep that's it.
Is that lad playing hurdy gurdy? The street's known for buskers but I've never seen one of those playing. I never even heard of it before Luxlad brought it up a few months ago.

Also that AIB building is Lynch's Castle. There's a story about this carving.
>The heavily carved façade bears the arms of Henry VII, and below this is a most peculiar carving which, though looking more like a mongoose, is said to represent a monkey holding a child in its paws. The statue is allegedly pays tribute to an incident when a pet monkey rescued a child of the house from a fire.
No idea if there's any truth in it but I always thought that child looked more like a turtle.

He might be, it had a really fresh sound with bass-y reverberations and it didn't sound anything like the sort of traditional Irish music I'm familiar with. I'm sorry I didn't video record him to find out.

Go down to the end of shop street, walking away from Eyre Square. At the end of it you should come to the sea, this is it. The arch itself is on the right of pic related but the popular drinking area tends to be the stretch of grass across from it on the other side of the water. You should be able to see it easily enough.

The parts in red are what I'm talking about, you should see how packed it gets on a holiday like Paddy's Day. Even if you're not drinking I recommend you take a walk through the circled bit on the left, it has a very nice view, I hope it's not cloudy in the city now because it's gorgeous on a clear day.

The museum's free in as well if you want to have a look.

>>
>>77534190
It should be yes. It's not the greatest but it has some nice artifacts on the first floor and a statue of Pádraic Ó Conaire that used to be in Eyre Square. At the moment the only statues in Eyre Square is the hooker fountain and the JFK bust. John F. Kennedy's family are legally allowed to graze sheep in Eyre Square.
Upstairs there's artworks but I don't remember them being much good, if you're not that into art I'd say don't waste too much time there, it's far too easy to get caught up and miss the day.

Nobody uses gumtree here. Also there's a rental crisis in Dublin. You will not find a place for cheap, period.
If you do, you will be living in a slum house with 10 other people sharing a bathroom.
You've been told time and time again to get out of Dublin but you won't listen.
The quality of life outside of Dublin is one hundred times better, but suit yourself.

me too. I dont understand these people. Im an immigrant in Canada and I follow all the rules and even learned french. I read these articles about people and they just "decide to stay" passed their visa expiration like its no big thing. The papers who publish the story are so biased against the deportation they use the fact that the person has been in the country illegally for 15+ years as a reason not to deport them. I see it as all the more reason to deport them as they have been committing a felony all this time. Its not that hard to follow the fucking law.

CV was supposed to be RE3 and Nemesis was a side story showing Jill leaving the city. Think about it, lads. At the end of RE2 Claire is still going on about looking for her brother. Due to some legal contract with Sony, all numbered games had to be on the Playstation at the time. Look it up if you don't believe me. Not at all. But in the context of drug usage, the consumption of meth by the rank and file of the Wehrmacht was done moreso out of necessity rather than for the hedonistic reasons the average millennial consumes drugs today. Sure drugs were consumed recreationally by the Nazi elite, but this was on a much smaller scale.

I have no idea why people are so triggered by drug users. I may shit on AA for giggles, but you will NEVER get the human population to stop abusing drugs. The war on drugs will never be winnable. Let these people abuse and use as long as it doesn't effect your life directly. It's natural selection if they want to OD and fuck up their own lives. Just do you and worry about your life.

On a side note, I really think Jacques need a irl friend or some shit. Every time he comes home from work he seems so mad or just miserable at times. I understand being a wagecuk sucks but damn, dude.

Because no one gives a shit. Normalfags are lazing around on dole money except for the two months a year they manage to find work and autists are wasting their days and nights arguing about generational issues on a Goidelic manuscript board. The suicide rate's through the roof even if you account for people not reporting deaths as suicide as often back then. People don't feel attached to their home since there's no use wasting away on an unprofitable farm when you could move to Australia.

Morning.

>>77545977
Yeah I don't get this guy, he loses his mind about drugs every single time. He's totally bought into the whole DRUGS ARE BAD conditioning while simoultaneously believing that alcohol and pharamceuticals are 100% okay.
He has no clear definition of what a "junkie" or "druggie" is. He comes to the assumption that anybody who uses any kind of "drug" is a scumbag anti-social person.
He has no first hand experience of drugs, I doubt he even knows the difference between types of drugs and their effects short term and long term. He has no concept of the term harm reduction.

He's been told "HURR DURR DRUGS ARE BAD" all his life and now he's just repeating what he's told without questioning it. "drugs are a no no". Like a mother would tell a 5 year old child.

Rants on about needles on the ground which isn't much of a problem except in Dublin and places full of knackers but he'd probably be opposed to things like injection centres.

If we switched the roles and alcohol was illegal he would be spouting the same shite because thats what he was conditioned to believe without question.
But I'm sure he views alcohol as okay PURELY based on it's legality and how much it's pushed down our throats by large drink corporations dying to make as much profit as possible.
Not like alcohol is the most harmful drug to our society or anything. Not like it kills the most people out of any substance in this country and causes the worst anti-social behaviour and harm to humans.
Nope it's legal so it's all good ;) right?

He completely rejects and factual logic and just resorts to.
>Wtf junkies out, faggot, faggot, gays xD, millenials are worst generation based on my shortsighted impression of the last 3 generations only.

I think his parents must have seriously damaged him growing up.

That's my line lad. Come up with your own highly intelligent catchphrase.

>Not like alcohol is the most harmful drug to our society or anything
Well because it's legal and more people use it. If drugs were legalised I imagine we would see an increase in drug-related issues.
And we should ban alcohol as well, while we're at it.

Would love to engage with this post further but I have to work.

Nah, just enforce better public order with nightsticks and regulations on nightclub type establishments. Ironic that the combined nanny-state/anti-rural/economy-maximising regime that oversaw the collapse of the pub culture have very little to say about the new, imported drinking culture. They should also ban/tax the shit out of low-quality mass-produced foreign beer and vodka.

>>77555596
>There you go again with cherry picking random stories for confirmation bias.
Heroin addiction is a widespread problem, and the psychological consequences of the drug have more to do with the drug than with selection bias, or even the type of people who would use drugs when they are illegal.

>muh safe drugs
No such thing. Even habitual alcohol use as a true mind-altering drug has effects that change how people behave.

How do you feel about cannabis which medicinal properties have been proven to be revolutionary in terms of managing severely debilitating condition?

Look at the US. One of the most conservative shitholes and half the country has legalised recreational cannabis and each state is already making millions from the tax.
Since it's been legalised opiate abuse and overdoses have been slashed big time.
>>
>>77556031
>How do you feel about cannabis which medicinal properties have been proven to be revolutionary in terms of managing severely debilitating condition?
If it has good medicinal properties for actually sick people that's fine, but if it does have those, then it's disgusting and revealing that recreational drug addicts think recreationally using a medical drug is somehow less slimy than using it with no pretences. As if medical drugs with far weaker highs and more troublesome side effects aren't already abused by addicts as much as they can get them!
All addicts are excuse makers above all.

That sentence doesn't make much sense and it's not hypocritical. Alcohol can't give you a "bad trip", alcohol can't kill you the first time you try it. Plus, alcohol is actually socially acceptable, whereas your drugs are only accepted by dirty junkies.

>alcohol can't kill you the first time you try it.
Yes it can. Alcohol poisoning is a massive killer in Ireland. If it kills you or not is down to how much you consume as is the same with every substance.
Besides acid won't kill you, shrooms won't, weed won't, ketamine won't, and the same goes for many more. It's near impossible to overdose or become addicted to the above I listed.

Again you demonstrate that you have no understanding of drugs and their effects.
