We have many urban legends in our Finnish 4chan, like "legend" of the Grays of Oulunsalo. It has spreaded many creepypastas, some anons, like me, have went out to explore and photograph the region.

The Grays are said to be ghost-like entities, whose watch you from distance and you may hear electrical noise on dark winter days.

in the old part of town there's an abandoned area with a big old cross statue thing they call the "Master's Cross" where they used to sell, punish and often kill slaves, tying them to the statue and whipping them. Later they would execute enemies of the state such as revolutionaries there.
Some people say it's the most haunted place in town, probably only because so many people died there tho.

There are a lot of weird stories people tell, like some ghost girl that if you hear her whistling from very far way it means she's really close (and vice versa), and how people see the same weird sightings of black people in white clothes in an old neighbourhood with some expensive colonial era mansions.

We have lots, but one of my favourites is the legend of the little people. It's one of those legends that spans cultures and generations without much of the fundamental story changing.

Supposedly, some cunt hanged her in a forest close to my city on the day of her wedding and she's been haunting the place ever since. That forest surrounds a major road and the legend says that she will go out at night and jump in front of drivers.
Oddly enough, that road is infamous for accidents.

I used to visit my grandfather on the west coast of Norway during the summer as a kid. And every time we went fishing he would warn me about the Draug, telling stories about people mysteriously disappearing and later found mangled and dismembered. My grandfather was a serious dude and never told jokes or stories so i was often confused because the Draug sounded a lot like the local troll stories and tales of Askeladden. He would always warn me that the stench of death followed the Draug so it was easy to know if it was there. It just so happened one day that when we came back from shore something smelled rotten and my grandfather just grabbed me under his arm and ran to our car. Most spooky moment in my life.

Creepy stuff. I used to go """hunting""" for bigfoot in the hills with some friends I used to hang out with all the time. We never actually found anything except for once I found a human looking footprint in the side of a hill that was about 2 inches deep. Not sure if it was my vivid imagination or what, but that was super spooky at the time. Never went back to that place again.

There's an old abandoned manor in my town, built in Austro-Hungarian times by some baron. His descentants were killed by the communists during WWII and the manor was given to a Serbian major to live in with his wife. He and his wife mysterious dissappeared from the home during the 90s. Now every Monday midnight, there are deafening screams and moans of pain coming from the windows whose glass was long removed and taken away by Gypsies. What scares me the most is the idea of waking up and the voices/sounds not going away.

As for the shadow people and other random shit I see, I try to keep my eyes close. Last time I had my eyes opened during an SP episode, I saw a shadow standing right next to my bed; staring at me. Sometimes it feels like someone is choking me. Sometimes it feels like someone put a bunch of bricks on my chest, so it makes it hard to breathe. It doesn't matter what position I fall asleep in, it will happen regardless.

My life is hell.

The first time I had sleep paralysis (I was 16 at the time, I'm 25 now), I saw the shadow standing by my door. I got scared and tried shouting to get my parents attention, but I couldn't talk. I tried moving to run out of the room, but I couldn't get up. The more I panicked, the closer the shadow floated towards me until it was standing right next to me. I thought I was going to die. I closed my eyes and accepted my death. Then I snapped out of it and ran out my room. I thought my room was haunted, slept on the sofa for about a week until I got over it. After that night, I kept having SP episodes more frequently.

Pretty sure I experienced that shit this morning.
Woke up early and wanted to go back to sleep, suddenly I'm kinda awake laying in my bed a bit weird (though not on my back) and I heard a voice say something along the lines of 'come here' several times while I tried to move which caused me to fully wake up I guess. Spook'd me pretty good, thankfully no shadow people. My condolences if that's a reoccuring thing for you.

Supposed aerial crash in the woods of a very small town called Varginha, was seen by a small plane pilot. Army is looking around the woods.
That night 3 young women walking around the town see a brown creature with three crests on it's head and red eyes crouching near a wall, they run hysterical believing they saw the devil.

Some other shady stuff that I can't confirm the veracity involves one of the military said to take part of catching the live specimen ended up dying to an unknown infection.
