I am in college and most guys my age are in good shape. But it seems like 99% of people just get really fat after they join the work force.
It's mainly from the culture here. If you don't want to drink and eat burgers with your coworkers then you are a freak who doesn't want to enjoy life. Couple that with society forcing you to have kids, its very difficult to stay in shape as an adult.
