Fuck off normie
What did you end up doing?
I remember you made a thread asking for things to do/visit a while back
>>77400386
Yeah, that was probably me!
I didn't get around to doing as much as I expected. I really enjoyed my time in Mexico City and spent about half my time here.
Also visited Puebla, Veracruz, Guanajuato, and Guadalajara. Had a great time everywhere I went, to be honest.
I'm coming back next summer to take Spanish classes at UNAM. Probably going to take my motorcycle down here next time.
Seriously - wasn't expecting much from Mexico, but I fucking love it here. Amazing food and great people who manage to be nice without the sort of cringe-y-ness of places like India.

why dar es saalam?
>>77400495
Sounds like a solid trip. Next time you could try Oaxaca or Chiapas, both are jewels imho.
Good luck in your next trip mate.
>>77400577
Thanks!
I had Oaxaca and Chiapas on my to-do list this time, but didn't wind up having the spare days. Definitely doing both when I come back!

One of my close friends is in the Peace Corps. Going to spend a month and a half with him in a village before taking a light Pan-Africa trip and then ending up in India.
Been to India a bunch of times and probably going to bail, though. Mexico was so much fucking better.

Did you like Guanajuato? I live there
>>77401125
I wasn't only there for about a day, but it seemed like an alright place.
Architecture was great, though. Just walking around was a blast, but the crowds of tourists reminded me of Venice (not that I can complain, considering I was doing the same thing).
Very beautiful place, but I can't say much more than that.

Food, people, scenery, culture, etc.
Tequila is good, too.
