My opinion about falklands is that... yes, they are british and the argentinian government should stop claming sovereignty over the islands because there are more important things to solve in the country that those stupid islands that are already lost and have british people living there so they'll stay british forever.

Yes, falklands islands were argentinian and british empire stole it. Not in 1982 but in 1833 when a british fleet came to move the argentinian islanders out of the islands saying that those islands were british territory claiming by the king. The argentinian leader didn't want to protect the islands because he knew he couldn't do anything against the british army not even resist an attack, so they had to quit the islands and let the british colonist set in there.

The 1982 war was a mistake, argentina was under a dictatorship and these cruel dictators wanted to mantain the people distracted and patriotic by doing this war in the falklands saying britain were attacking us when the reality was that there were british people living in the falkands for 60 years... many people didn't know that, so that's way we invaded the islands with young men and a poor army... it was a tragedy and a crime made by our own government in those times

I want these two countries to be friends too. But ignorant people don't know the real story about what happened between both countries
