Everything is regulated, but nothing is strictly illegal. There are private individuals who own artillery and full auto machine guns and stuff, but it's exceedingly hard to get permits for those.

Sport shooting and hunting are the most common methods people use to get access to funs.

What unfortunately is completely illegal is carrying for protection.

I live in California lite, a state whose gun laws are so retarded that all AKs are banned, but pic related is perfectly legal because the morons who make the gun laws didn't know it exists. Also, AR-15s are banned, unless they have a heavy barrel. But there's no defintion of heavy barrel, it just has to have HEAVY BARREL written somewhere. It's essentially impossible to get a CC license unless you're rich.
>>
>>77365042

>>
>>77365157
People don't really differentiate between burst/auto when they're talking about fun switches. Both are machine guns.

And yes, it's completely useless 99% of the time, but it's a cool thing to have.

>>77365163
Hunting is damn popular, and since we have ongoing conscription, easily half of the population are used to guns and thus not psychotically afraif of them. We have our share of anti-gunners though, usually women.

There's some IPSC and reservist shooting, but the vast majority of privately owned firearms are for hunting.
>>
>>77365171
Why would you want 4 AIs though? It's like buying 4 ARs, except worse, because you can at least customise ARs almost infinitely.

Shooting with rental guns gets expensive, and you can't take them away to your summer cottage and shoot with your mates.

It's also harder to practice if you don't have your own guns. And you never really know if you need to use the guns in defense, even in a white country/state/city.

And anon, sometimes spending money to have fun is ok.

>Shooting with rental guns gets expensive
Not sure how expensive is over there but it is 20 bucks and you can take a pick of anything you want to use, not limited to what you have.

>you can't take them away to your summer cottage and shoot with your mates.

If we spend money on renting a place for the summer (Not sure why, fucking hot here in arizona), I would think we would want to do some other, more interesting shit than using an overpower slingshot to pass the day, but to each their own if that fascinates you. I have done that already to make it sound that special.
>It's also harder to practice if you don't have your own guns.
Not that hard to shoot a guy these days, they aren't that complicated for your needs. You aren't in syria blasting sandniggers.
>And you never really know if you need to use the guns in defense
Yea you fucking do know when you will need one. When I get a cop knocking at my door asking me if I knew anything about my drug addict neighbor setting his girl on fire, or some coked up nigger banging my door at 2 am wanting to steal my shit, I know I need a gun. When the biggest worry I have is some annoying dog won't shut the fuck up, then I don't need one.

>sometimes spending money to have fun is ok.

Indeed, just seems like a waste to me, but like I said fairly often, whatever floats your crazy boat.
>>
>>77365760
>Not sure how expensive is over there but it is 20 bucks and you can take a pick of anything you want to use, not limited to what you have.
Have you checked the prices if you aren't renting a gun? I'm betting you could save 15 bucks.

You would probably do it in winter, seeing as how you live in a hellish climate. It isn't of course the only thing you'd do, but it's still a fun way to pass time. And there's nothing wrong with slingshots either.

So how do you practice shooting a guy if you don't have a gun? You need to practice dry firing, drawing, magazine changes, malfunction clearing etc. if you want to be competetive. Or just better off if the time comes when you need to use it against someone.

>Yea you fucking do know when you will need one.
That's like saying you'll know when you need a seatbelt or a fire extinguisher. If you knew about the events beforehand, you'd be preventing or avoiding them.

And you just said you got rid of your gun.
>>
>>77365350
>Either way, it seems like a waste of money/space having something you will never really use.

But people do use them? I mean I guess you just don't like shooting, that does not mean other people don't. Some people like to shoot often, its a fun hobby.

>>77365760
>Need

You keep saying this like its the only reason to own a gun. But to play in to your reasoning, you claim you used to need a gun because you lived in a bad neighborhood, but since you moved you no longer need one because you think nothing bad can happen to you now.

It seems weird that you can understand the basic idea of self preservation when you "needed" it, but now after moving you just go "Well I don't need this anymore nothing bad can happen to me now". Normally that kind of stuff sticks to people, most gunowners just like the idea of being able to defend themselves, even though most likely they never will. Its just the principles of it.

I mean you are allowed to like or dislike what ever you want, I just think its strange.

>because you think nothing bad can happen to you now.
Yea, there was a greater chance of my life being threaten in my old place. The chances of happening where I live right now are very, very low. Of course possibilities do exist, anything could happen. I could be hit by a lighting, get run over by a drunk driver, have an accident at my job (which is probably the biggest danger atm now that I think about it, and that is not saying much considering I work in a lab), etc but I'm not going to live my life in fear when the possibility is fairly low.

I rather enjoy life now since it shat on me fairly early on. As to why you find it strange, try living for a while in a place where the possibility is fairly high of your life being threaten, its a breath of fresh air of letting it go.
>>
>>77366407
>but I'm not going to live my life in fear when the possibility is fairly low.
It's not about living in fear, it's about recognising the existence of the possibility and taking precautions. Or do you not look both ways before crossing the road? Or wear a helmet when cycling?

>taking precautions
My first precaution was getting out of that shithole. That solved a lot of the self protection problems, for you to understand, that was me wearing a helmet. And the next comes when knowing what places to avoid and the people to not even look at. Of course the possibility exists, as do all things in life but I'm not going to postpone a rainy day because im afraid a lighting could hit me.
>>
>>77366703
>for you to understand, that was me wearing a helmet.
Then what you're essentially saying is "I no longer live somewhere where people drive like madmen, so it's no longer necessary for me to wear a helmet while cycling". I'd call that stupid, but you are of course free to make your own mistakes.

>I'd call that stupid
I have worry about my well being to a retarded point a fairly decent part of my life, most likely more than you would ever had to deal with (and you should be fucking thankful instead of trying to think of how good it would be to prepare for it), so it is amazing to let it go. Sbrs are rather pointless. AR goes in a pretty small space even with a rifle length barrel, and you get a lot more muzzle energy with the longer burn time.

That said, they are pretty cute. I'll probably get me one further down the line if I can (they're difficult for us to get as well)

The one pictured was my first one ( around 2010 ). I got a very good deal on it. I also got very proficient on it, so I wanted to go bigger. So, I got the AWSM. I then got a GREAT deal on an AE MKI ( just over 1000 bucks ), so my son uses that. The 4th one, my work bought for me ( AS50 ). So, 4 AI's.

If navy version has the button release, you dun fucked up, because the paddle release is the tits. Threaded barrel is whatever, you probably won't be using a can on a pistol anyway, because they're a real pain in the ass when suppressed. And you can easily switch out the barrel later if you decide you really need the threads.
>Is that a talon grip on there?
No, just the large backstrap and a piece of grip tape.
>>
>>77373494
>If navy version has the button release, you dun fucked up, because the paddle release is the tits.
I don't know man, I am used to the button release and I was thinking it would be quicker than the paddle release. Is it really better? I guess I have to find someone who has a gun like that.

I was only going by the looks, I think the threaded barrel looks kinda cool. Also it can apparently fire under water (doesn't really matter to me) and there are some other minor differences like the finish. There is no way for me to get a can for it anyways, but what makes shooting it supressed so terrible?

>I don't know man, I am used to the button release and I was thinking it would be quicker than the paddle release. Is it really better? I guess I have to find someone who has a gun like that.
Paddle release allows you to drop the magazine without breaking the grip. With a button, you have to flip the gun around to drop the magazine, which is slower and has a bigger chance of a fuck-up. Moreover, it's naturally ambidextrous, letting you train offhand without any issues. After shooting only button release pistols (cz, hs2000, glocks...), it took me only a couple of days to get used to it. Now I'm never going back.
>Also it can apparently fire under water
Most guns fire underwater. The added channels make it so that the gun drains easier, which helps prevent pressure inequality inside the firearm. A really niche problem at best.
>There is no way for me to get a can for it anyways, but what makes shooting it supressed so terrible?
Well cost first of all. Browning short recoil action has a tilting barrel, and added weight on the barrel means the gun will malfunction unless the can has a booster, which adds cost. With can attached, will not fit any holster, making it a pain for anything except range shooting. Then there are the negatives which apply to all suppressors, namely added weight in general, added gas blowback (makes cleaning a pain), extra length, still requiring you to use earpro with the majority of ammo, etc.

They're truly a novelty item. I honestly regret putting 200e into a can for my Sako (though it was kinda necessary since some ROs at my local range bitch about muzzle brakes which the Sako has by default). I suppose it's okay if you want to keep peace with the neighbours at your summer cottage or something, but other than that, a fucking waste.

Periaatteessa joo.

I'm confused. What is your definition of cucked? What makes Germany, Sweden and Australia cucked? They don't have a common denominator that I can think of.

Immigrants for you guys and germany, shitty laws and socialist attitudes for aussies would be my guess. Different shades of cuck or something, I don't know.

Thanks for the info man, I guess I will have to finger fuck a classic model at the store. I have only shot the M2 version so far. What do you think about the gun overall? So far I only heard good stuff about them.
>>
>>77374285
saaks siitä jotain pojoja tolle urheiluammunta jutulle jos on käyny intin? lähin ampumarata on jossain 20km päässä pitääkö useinkin käydä vai riittääkö joku jäsenyys ja kerran parissa viikossa?
>>

>>
>>77374346

>>
>>77374285

>>
>>77374365
No complaints. Definitely one of the best polyframed 9mm pistols on the market, right out of the box.
>>77374396

>>77374397
Looks a lot like beretta, not sure about the model though.
>>77374511
Yes, and?
>>77374516
Pistoolit vaatii 2v harrastamisen.
>>
>>77374568
Then it's not a common denominator. If any negative trait makes your country cucked, all countries are cucked.

They could have just given us proportional representation in parliament. That's literally all we wanted. We were upset that we were expected to pay taxes to the crown, but had (effectively) no voice in crown affairs.

If the brits had just swallowed their pride for a second and tossed a few chairs in for representatives from the colonies, what we now call 'america' would have been another commonwealth like Canada. We would have had the queen on our currency and spelled color with a u.

But NOOOO we can't let those dirt farmers have votes. And the rest is history.
>>
>>77366973
>but honestly Australia is right up there with them
In Australia you can easily enough legally purchase and register a rifle, which is all you ever need if you live on a property. Compare your nation to mine: yours is a violent shithole with the highest gun violence in the western world and no value for human life. If "cucked" means being able to make it through schooling without taking a bullet to the head, then "cucked" is something every nation really ought want to be if they are to be part of the modern world.

You fucking nigger.

In 1765, the average amount of tax paid by someone in Great Britain itself was 312 pence (26 shillings) per year.

In Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New York, the average tax was 12 pence per year, or 4% of the amount paid by people in Britain. People in Virginia only paid 5 pence, or less than half that amount.

In the years between 1765 and 1775 Britain greatly increased the tax burden on the American colonists by raising customs duties. This increased the tax burden by a massive 8 pence per head, to 20 pence per year — or 6% of the taxes that people in Britain itself had to pay, rather than 4%. This injustice drove the American patriots to rebellion.

It was the principle of the matter. You can crunch statistics all you want, it doesn't change the fact that we had no voice in parliament.
