is it true that /int/s quality is down?
i do have noticed that there are more plebit tier posts among all sort of flags

i mean we've always known amerishits represent a constant influx of newfags and bad quality posts, but now the diahrrea of stupidity comes from everywhere not just ameristupids, and btw these plebit types are very uppity. they should be shot on sight

>>
>>77326675
There's a lot of low quality threads in the catalogue, but honestly I think it's good to see the generals get cleared out every once in a while. Non-Australian shitposters will always tire eventually.
>>
>>77326675
we have no more memes like SWEDEN YES or >portugal
but at the same time, we have no more sir billy and other cancer
>>
>>77326675
Int became shit
>>
>>77326675
true. i dont see it for more than 30 minutes a day anymore.

when i see some japan thread i only see some whining diaspora trash that i never care about outside /int/. a race or some competitive thread like which is more attractive is all boring. its literally like 7yo kids doing something childish. its much dumber than jrpg vs wrpg cause it lacks any cultural perspective.
yuro ones are all about immigrants. its repetitive af and like the same posters endlessly posting the same shit being like insecure crying bitches or nerds bullied by jocks.

same might go for any other board on 4chan but /int/ has literally no connection to outside world. everything is concluded in /int/ itself and you literally cant bring anything of /int/ out there. i think i was fooled by these flags. it doesnt have any verified views on their own countries cause most /int/ posters are autistically biased by a shit conservative hivemind.
>>
>>77326675
>newfags flooded /pol/ after GG
>/pol/ flooded /int/ after moot nuked it with furry porn
>/his/ got rid of quality discussion
>/bant/ got rid of memeposters
/int/ is a husk of its former self but I can't leave because this has been my home board since 2010 and I can't keep up with all the other boards, even /a/ (which was my home board before /int/ was created).
I just hope I'm not the only one in this situation, because it feels like I'm the only sane person in a field of redditors sometimes.
>>
>>77332874
/int/ is exactly the same, SOPA DE MACACO just replaced SHART IN MART that replaced A FUCKING LEAF that replaced SWEDEN YES.

You think it's bad? Then it was always bad.

/int/ is dying, you can stay here and watch it slowly turn into a dead board
>>
>>77333182
I don't even know what's the point of /bant/.
It fails horribly at containing non-politic posts from /pol/. It failed as a containment board.
>>
>that pic
Oh boy it's one of these threads again

/int/ got 10x more lefty after the election
this is just a fact
>>
>>77333128
I'm not talking about the memes getting less and less creative, I'm talking about overall board quality.
>>
>>77330136
>that kind of post
>not something always on /int/
get fucked leftard
you don't care about /int/ you started this thread for a political reason which is exactly what your screencap is against
>>
>>77333280
/int/ was always bad, there was little quality discussion, it was always the same 15 memes spammed ad nauseam among heaps of generals and random threads about cars or food.

The only thing that changed is the even bigger amount of cancerous generals like /cum/ or /dixie/.
>>
>>77333241
maybe for americans. they always bring up id politics.
but at least for japanese its not. those azn diaspora posters, for instance, are not sjws but alt-rights for themselves. they are anti-white so they band together with other sjws or lefty azn sjws in america but on the other hand are also anti-japan and pro-ccp. i dont find it liberal. i think you can find the same cases in any other race/ethnicity. and that twisted ideological shit doesnt make sense for me, its just really a vocal minority thing only on the internet or on a certain sub on reddit. which is fuckin useless elsewhere.
>>
>>77333406
>even bigger amount of cancerous generals like /cum/ or /dixie/
So you're admitting it's gotten worse?
Never said /int/ was never a shitshow, but it's definitely gotten a lot worse in the last few years.

>/bant/
>containing non-politic posts from /pol/

i can't believe there are """""""""""people""""""""""" who unironically think /bant/'s purpose is to cantain trash thread from /pol/. /pol/ is a trash board, any thread leak from it should be immediately moved to a more fitting board called /trash/, not /bant/.
>>
maybe /bant/ is the new /int/

it just needs more /int/ posters but I can sense some of the classic /int/ian spirit there that /int/ itself is losing
>>
>>77333440
It's not worse if you don't click on them.

I think you (we) just grew up and got sick of /int/, it didn't really change. Anyway, all 4chan is feeling old and samey, apart from the new users of /pol/. For example, boards like /sp/ or /biz/ are completely stale, and /int/ is doing fine in comparison.

Forget /pol/ and 4chan feels terribly 2009, people just go on Reddit nowadays.
>>
>>77333605
>people just go on reddit nowadays
Perhaps you ought to stay there
>>
>>77333641
>triggered by the r-word

I never go there, but you can't deny they have impressive growth, while 4chan out of /pol/ looks stagnant.
>>
>>77333702
I don't deny they're much larger than 4chan and are growing but I still don't think people from 4chan have jumped ship to go to Reddit as you implied
>>
>>77333721
Most of the people who did jump ship went to infinitychan or if they're even olderfags probably other more obscure chans.
>>
/pol/ killed 4chan as a whole and not just /int/
>>
>>77332738
>most /int/ posters are autistically biased by a shit conservative hivemind
This. It's pretty disappointing to come here and only see the same /pol/ bullshit but in various languages.
>>
>>77333767
>more obscure chans
(come to 4taba if you're looking for a good time)
>>
>>77333721
I didn't imply that. It's more that many younger people (not oldfags like us) will automatically go on Reddit because it's the "hot" place to be. They ignore 4chan, they never want to go here, because it looks dated and weird.

People from our generation chose 4chan because there was nothing else.

>>77333482
You just needs to prune back the generals and produce some enjoyable content. Like >>77333406 said, get rid of /cum/ and /dixie/. Possibly also conglomerate various generals together. German and Dutch speakers should be able to coexist in a single combined thread.

That way the Finns, the Australians and everyone else can get down to business.
>>
>>77333852
I disagree. A bunch of edgy teens are definitely attracted to this place. Especially from places like the donald trump forum on reddit.
>>
>>77333852
I think we have quite the opposite problem, 4chan is becoming more and more popular due to flooding of redditors into /pol/ without anyone giving a damn about integrating into 4chan culture. Back when I came to 4chan for the first time from SA, I didn't shit up the place with memes and mannerisms from SA, I lurked for a while until I was able to post as part of the community. For whatever reason people don't do that anymore and they make 4chan their little reddit playground rather than change their ways.
>>
>>77333867
I tried making a thread for suggestions about /int/ generals where I made a long OP about which generals should be consolidated and which should be deleted but everyone just told me to fuck off because "generals are part of /int/ culture" and nothing should be tampered with. We can't make /int/ better until we all can agree on something, which is impossible I'm afraid.
>>
>>77333852
i thought 4chan was still a weeb board. the reason youngsters might not come here is its turned into /pol/ bullshit, i think. if anyhitng those weebs of the new generation go to different places, not reddit. because they are weebs somehow and reddit isnt so tolerant, comfortable to them.
>>
>>77333889
Goons are even more cancerous.
>>
>>77333917
It's not like what we agree will have an effect on anything, mods need to actually do their job instead of just being a jannitor desu.
>>
>>77334059
Mods can't just delete generals for being generals, there has to be communication so that we know which generals are getting deleted and why.

>>77333419
>>
>>77333887
Sure, but not everyone is wanting to be edgy, and being perpetually edgy is not enough to remain relevant. Actually, we could argue that being edgy is somewhat dated. It belongs to the era of Maddox. Now people are looking for more politically charged content (be it /pol/ or SJW rants) or dreamlike, neo-sincerity stuff.

>>77333889
For normies, 4chan was the creepy board with gore and pedo images; now it's the creepy board with alt-right content. Not very attractive for a larger public who would like to discuss sports or anime without having to crawl through angry walls of texts about the Jews.
>>
/int/ was absolutely thrashed when /pol/ was deleted, quality went up once /pol/ was resurrected but then started to drop once the post 2012 reddit invasions started.
I've been on this side for a long ass time and it's pretty easy to pinpoint the points when the quality dropped far bellow standard, only for the shitpile to become the new standard but basically
>Habbo HoteL Raid
>Boxxy
>Chanology
>Jessi Slaughter
>MLP
>death of /pol/
>Robama elections
>Trayvon Martin incident/Zimmerman prossecution
>gamergate and all that ensued
>Clump election

all of those events brought exponentially garbagier posters to this website, also coincides with the increase in non western european/north american posters.
>>
>>77334218
...nut still perfect for edgy teenagers on Reddit and 9gag who see screencaps of greentexts from 2010 and YouTube videos about the "top 10 best 4chan moments" who decide to come here and start posting immediately
