I know you probably don't give a shit about it, but I'll post it anyway.

It was an industrial and political miracle, a true masterwork of the Polish elites under occupation, called "work at the grass roots"
Basically they've made even simple peasants feel Polish. This was amplified even further when the Bolsheviks invaded newly-emerged Poland.

But to call Poland Israel? Poland is one of the oldest countries in Europe. It was on the map for majority of time. From 950AD to 1772AD. It disappeared for around 130 years, even though it came back a couple of time as Dutchy of Warsaw and Congress Poland. But Poles considered it more as "occupation" rather than being part of someone elses country. They never stopped speaking Polish, even the diaspora in Western countries.
