We are black-skinned BUT

>our entire literature and routine publications is in formal Arabic
>we drive the same brands, use the same technology inclinations

>we watch the same television

Everything beyond the skin colour is Arabian and its a shame, the more educated people/expatriates pretend they're western (American/English/etc)

A syrian guy moved next to my grandpa's house like 45 years ago
he's now 60, owns a small clothes factory, has a growing family and absolutely no discernible accent
he's also quite laborious doing a lot of maintenance to his and my grandpa's house, even now that he's old
