For the same reason that anyone is attracted to anything.
Kpop is very diverse and different types attract to different people. In some cases it's because the song is catchy, or good, or shiny or in the case of many guys because they fap to the girls.

It's quite common knowledge -although not really outspoken- that 'gaypop' has better music and that the other kind is for fappers.

Nothing really wrong with that, but their music is not as good as the one the guys do as a general rule. They focus to much on looking cute and fappable instead than in dancing well or singing great songs. BTS is a great example on both the dancing and singing.

It's like porn-lite. That doesn't appeal to me so that incentive doesn't work with me. I do like IU for example.

As far as I understand they are stalkers who violate their idols privacy and intimacy. If the people they follow weren't famous I'm pretty sure they would be locked up for breaking laws.

So, I know that in ancient Korea the royalty had the "sacred bone system" which was basically aristocratic incest to keep the bloodline pure. Why is it popular anywhere outside of Korea? I think it's a high quality productservice that are not as degenerate as what the Hollywood media is pumping out. Thr dramas are also typically more "prudish" but with smarter plots than Turkish and Latino soap opetas (also they don't drag on forever :3) At least it is why it appeals to me.

Yeah, it was one of the reasons I could never get into any Latino tv shows. I'd loose my interest pretty quickly. Also, imho, Korean dramas have better acting. At the very least there's way less overacting. And they're not afraid to be goofy and funny as well.

They're not white per se, but they're pretty pale (unless they tan). They do have yellow undertones to their skin instead of pink, like white people. Tbh I don't think they need to bleach their skin to look that way, they just need to avoid sun. Then again there are some actors (only male though) that are quite dark, so I'm not 100% sure they don't use skin lighteners at all.

Skin-bleaching isn't a widespread thing at all in SK. Most people don't go beyond sunscreen daily, using tons of makeup, using a lot of face-masks at night and such and avoiding direct sunlight like a plague. Some idols might do it though, idk. It's def a thing in Southeast Asia, though, that's where most of the ads are from.
