Similar story here man. Father is a lawyer, but we were still poor. I came to the realization a few years ago that he was actually really bad, like an irl Saul Goodman, and I would probably have to move if I would ever want to live the "american dream"

My father owned a convenience store for 30 years. He did well until the late 2000s, but then the recession hit and people stopped renting movies. I hope the both of us can get out of this hell someday.
