I'm from England and my parents little old 3 bed house gives off massive comfy john lewis feels in the winter but I also find the idea of having a really high up box apartment here in Seoul super comfy too

Asia is comfy as in not lonely, always a lot of life and things going on, also it keeps you busy at work and private life. But it's not for the weak-hearted, highest suicide rate and a lot of depression going on under the scenes.

Things will get easier for you if you get a japanese wife. Living alone in Japan for a long time is very heavy, and friends won't be enough. If you have a swedish girlfriend, it might just be easier to stay in Sweden. That's my view of it.
