Not thread-related but I've traveled to Korea and I loved the southeastern part of it. Busan and Daegu are awesome cities. Seoul is way too sprawling to my liking.

For some reason in almost all asia countries in all sort of jobs they expect you to work overtime ~4 hours each day (for free mind you), then go to pub with your miserable boss and laught at his unfunny jokes. Combine this with low pay and you will basically never see your kids.
