Try and start with 900 years of Muslims controlling the Indian subcontinent and enslaving Hindus.

Muslims can't live without beef and this triggers far right Hindus.


But more importantly Muslims are the largest minority in India and I hear they breed fast and the RSS and that crowed are obsessed with keeping India's Hindu identity. When the Hindu population dipped below 80% they really freaked out. And that's basically why you hear these stories targeting Muslims and Christians and sometimes Sikhs (but most of the anti-Sikh stuff happened in the 70s).

muslims in india weren't very radical or conflicting with hindus until 1947 and afterwards imo.

Will they seriously lynch anyone who eats beef? Crazy. Even in the west where eating dog or cat is verboten and seen as barbaric, we've never had lynch mobs target Koreans about it.

1. Chicken is the most popular as far as I can tell but beef is still somewhat big business which is why when Adyanath closed Muslim butcheries that sold beef it caused a lot of problems.

2. Not sure, they've helped as long as I've been alive, maybe there's been an uptick considering Indias PM is an RSS memember atm.
