What's it like to be German Does it suck, or is it great?

While Germany has a problem with immigration and rampant decay of European spirit, it hasn't reached the level the UK, US, or even France yet. Still a lot of people of value to be found in Germany and honesty, working hard, keeping promises, punctuality and even just being faithful are highly valued.

If you're east German, it's just economically upgraded Poland or Czechia.

Your parents/grandparents can probably remember living under Soviets. The cities of east Germany don't look much different than most eastern/central Euro cities.

Sure, it's pretty good nowadays, but the reunification happened only 3 decades ago
