You close your eyes then open them again and it's been a couple of hours, last time I had it I felt a bit nauseous had a small nap and was good.

They anesthesia my lower body once like the one they do for women who labors. That's the most uncomfortable experience of my life, being unable to move or feel your legs. Thoughs of not being walking again flashes through me. Also I was awake during the surgery.

You're out cold by the time you count to 4.

When I was recovering in the hospital beds I kept passing out due to the anesthesia. If I just closed my eyes for a second or two I'd be sleeping for a couple hours.
