I would start with saying that I love Hungary.It's not just a meme, all Hungarians I've met personally were awesome, and the wine from Eger is the best in the world. But.. you guys had really bad luck (or made really bad decisions in elections) with the governments since the early '90. And at the end you choose the cure named Orban that proved to be worse than the disease itself. You were half richer than us after communism ended..Not anymore. All the money the EU sent was frankly stolen by filthy politicians and their buddies. It's common knowledge. The police doesn't care. Anything they build is just for show, and usually starts to crumble within half a year, at most.
They don't put the money into the project, use the worst materials, intentionally leave out parts so they don't have to pay for it, hire inept people. They even outright manipulate the system. In one Hungarian village they built not one, not two but 10!!!! yes ten fucking wooden outlook towers. The village is surrounded by the empty steppe. There is nothing to fucking see!!!!!!

I know that what you are trying to say is that the historic substane of the city centre was created during wheter Teutonic or Prussian times but Gdańsk was a part of Polish Kingdom for most of its history. It is a city that combines a lot of history and a lot of cultures (not just Polish and German). It should unite not devide us.
