>meme temperature scale
I'd rather live in a modern nation but thanks all the same.
>>77078631
This is accurate. Not a meme. Iris not and the weather is nuts.
>>77079018
It is hot*
>>77079018
haha so cool and unique :DD no other place in the world has no extreme or weird weather conditions LOL SUCK IT EUROKEKS hahaha
I live above the arctic circle.
24/7 sunlight for months in summer, and months of 24/7 darkness in winter..
>pic literally taken at midnight
>>77079796
But 24/7 darkness during midwinter is absolute comfiness.
>>77078460
I did for 20 years. Now I live in a more reasonable temperate climate or the shores of lake Erie
>>77078460
Already have for 30 years and I still hate it.
>>77079796
>>77081227
Wait, so do people go to work/school in the pitch black? Wtffff
>>77081273
>temperate climate
>>77079796
How the fuck do you fast there if there is no sunrise or sunset?
>>77083423
You use Mecca sunrise/sunset times, baka
>>77079796
I like my days and nights separate every day. This does not cause depression like your winters.
>>77078460
Thats not that hot
>>77078460
it's the humidity that matters
>be white in west coast
>get skin cancer
>>77079018
i could make a picture like that every month from april to october
>>77082908
>, so do people go to work/school in the pitch black?
Yes.
>>77083609
Lived here for 27 years, never gotten depressed. I prefer the winter.
>>77079796
Where was that photo taken?
>>77078460
I live in one of the nearest places to North Africa in Europe. Trust me, I could.
>>77084572
Kungsleden between Kiruna and Abisko.
>>77083609
People who get depressed because of the dark are more prone to depressions anyway. Only "downside" i find in the midwinter darkness is that i start to get sleepy more earlier.
>>77082908
Like the other anon said, yes.
The sun doesn't rise but people still live like usual.
>pic taken on my street last winter at like 14:00 in the afternoon.
>>77084650
Do people in Finland buy those special "mood" lights that are supposed to mimic sunlight?
They always appear in the stores around October here.
>>77084795
I guess some people do since there is a market for them but i dont know anyone who owns one. People just sit inside in dimly lit rooms.
>>77078460
even the temps so boring in FL
>>77078460
I don't want to start boiling so no
>>77079796
24/7 sunlight = less crime ?
24/7 darness = more crime ?
>>77086753
The opposite. 60+ F, more crime and 30 and below F less crime, less noise, less traffic
>>77087324
but more light = more chances of getting caught and more visible
darkness = cant see, can hide, not in pain daylight, more crime no?
>>77087415
No difference in crime rates here.
>>77078460
disgusting
>>77087549
Everyone in Florida has AC on constantly during the hot months. Virtually every building has AC too so the heat/ humidity is trivial.
Same thing living in the north during winter. Climate is really negligible in this day and age given the advent and proliferation of indoor temperature controls.
>>77087415
I can't find statistics for monthly crime rates, all I can find is that my city is one of the worst in America, as far as crimes and winter goes
>>77087750
oh, i really have no clue either. i was just wondering how its like for those artic nordic months. but, where you at though? detroit?
>>77087673
>Everyone in Florida has AC on constantly
Mine broke the other day.
Had to order a run capacitor for the condenser/fan.
Could only manage to get it down to 29C at night with window fans going full blast.
>>77087857
Cleveland
Also big ups to the oc punching pepe guy
>>77087658
Lack of oogaboogas probably contributes to that, and those oogaboogas who are here cant stand the cold so they stay inside.
>>77088131
ayeeeeeee
I am right now
>Wake up
>Go outside
>120 degrees
>Die
Y'all don't want to live in the desert state.
>>77078460
