People who get depressed because of the dark are more prone to depressions anyway. Only "downside" i find in the midwinter darkness is that i start to get sleepy more earlier.

Everyone in Florida has AC on constantly during the hot months. Virtually every building has AC too so the heat/ humidity is trivial.

Same thing living in the north during winter. Climate is really negligible in this day and age given the advent and proliferation of indoor temperature controls.

Mine broke the other day.
Had to order a run capacitor for the condenser/fan.
Could only manage to get it down to 29C at night with window fans going full blast.
