In some place like Denmark I doubt conscripts do much more than pick up litter at the city park. Not like Israel or South Korea where you could be fighting an insane enemy at any moment.

Used to have one but its not that bad, just 2 1/2 month of marching, picking trash and cleaning schools, picnic at the waterfalls, visiting orphanage,jungle camping , taking care of the pet snake and eating a lot.
3 meal time, 3 snack time and you are allowed to pick fruits at the orchard if permission is given.
Too bad about the lack of guns though.
