There are significantly less british people
Ireland is cheaper to live in. Also less multiculturalism. Alcohol prices are insane though.

How can every single Irish person be an alcoholic if this is true?

UK seems more autistic when it comes to socio-economic status, we don't have as rigid a class system. We're Catholic. Less densely populated, streets don't feel crowded unless you're in Dublin city centre or something. Football isn't the dominant sport unless you're in certain towns like Bray, Drogheda or Dundalk. Most of the country seem to play Gaelic football or hurling instead and playing for the county is seen as high status. The public sector strikes me as cushier here. Different school system: Leaving Cert involves more subjects than A-levels. We also learn Irish of course though most don't speak it. It does serve useful for keeping foreigners out jobs such as police or primary school teachers since you need a good Irish grade in school to apply. This keeps non-Irish from these jobs since they're pillars of local communities. Towns and cities are bigger in the UK and the infrastructure is worse here: you won't see nuclear power plants here or buildings above 70m. UK is more cosmopolitan. UK supermarkets tend to have a wider selection of goods. Irish people tend to be begrudging of their peers' success, not exactly sure if this is a thing in the UK but I don't think it is so I'll list it.
Just some points from the top of my head
How true is this?

I've never succeeded at a single thing in my life. Does this mean I'd be well liked by your working class?
