Does your culture WORSHIP bread?
Kind of. Bread considered a holy food, so it's forbidden to put it on the ground or throw in the trash.

It's the body of the christ. It's also use to be the basis of our entire alimentation.

It's just symbolism.
Damn, living in a country surrounded by Catholics, I somehow actually forgot that not everyone knows or understands this stuff.

All Catholics believe it

But you're wrong. "Our Father" is probably one of the most important prayers in Catholicism, too
>Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
All European/Middle Eastern cultures do. Loads of words in English such as "lord" or "companion" have their origins in bread, whilst its also a recurring theme in Abrahamic religions.
The history of man is a history of bread.

Unless you're a non middle eastern Asian, that is.
