what is this ranking for

>>5. Melbourne
this just shows that this list is a meme
Melbourne is a lot like Vancouver or Toronto. Sure, the median wage is high, and there are good universities there. But the cities themselves are about as interesting as watching paint dry, and transportation is nothing short of completely and utterly awful.
In other words, it's not the city of Melbourne itself which is good. Melbourne is simply where some high-paying jobs and universities are located within Australia. The country itself is wealthy and provides well for its citizens, but that has little to do with Melbourne. This is why suburban living is so popular in countries like Australia and Canada: there's literally no added value to actually living in Melbourne, except for lower commute time (although if you want low commute time, then all of Australia and Canada are complete dogshit).
im from munich
it's comfy, can't really complain, but it doesn't have a "large city" flair.

Sydney and Melbourne are chink infested, extremely expensive shitholes

Wow, I thought Madrid was more important for Spain.
Why is your capital so shithole?
>>77016943
because it's uprooted
>>77016943
Means that economic power is not centralized.
I think it is a good thing actually.

Have you been to melbourne?
It's the sporting capital of Australia, has a great live music scene, great food scene, lots of events, good public transport and lots of public spaces/parks/greenery.
Where are you getting your opinion from?

outside of montreal which is itself a fucking tourist and student city, what's there that's better and funner about other cities?
i've lived in 7 different canadian cities, and currently live in a small city of 500k, and all are way, way more boring than toronto.
typical things to do is generic as hell, IE go to a branded restaurant, have to drive everywhere, cannot walk around and explore unlike toronto which is dense enough to do that.
