My grandparents came here from Latvia during WWII, so I'm a 3rd generation completely Americanized half-Latvian.

Honestly, I have very little connection to the country other then knowing a couple Latvian recipes and being able to recite a prayer in Latvian. I've been meaning to visit the country at least once for quite a while now.
