For Spanish language learners there's a rule you can follow if your in a clutch. Words ending in -ma, -pa, -ta, that have cognates in both English and Spanish, are usually masculine nouns in spanish. The words are derived from Greek. It doesn't work all the time but it can help.

Colombian/Bogotá accent Spanish is neutral, slow, doesn't have many pronunciation difficulties, is easy to understand and people like it. So I'll say that you should start to read articles translated by Latino Americans and watch Colombian movies, yt videos, novelas or series in Spanish at preference. -AGUDAS: words that are stressed in the last syllable. They are written with an accent if they end in N, S or a vowel.
-GRAVES: words that are stressed in the second to last syllable. Written with an accent if they end in any letter EXCEPT N, S or a vowel.
-ESDRÚJULAS: words that are stressed in the third to last syllable or further back. They are always written with an accent.
-Monosyllabic words: certain monosyllabic words are written with an accent to differenciate them from homographs.
