Like before Amazon

Actual question, what do you actually buy from Amazon? Australia is getting amazon sometime next year but I'm really can't think of anything I'd actually buy from it.
I live as remote as humanly possible in Sweden surrounded by mountains and nature for miles and miles.
How do I get stuff?
I order it. Takes a little longer (10-14 days) but it always arrive.

>>76830722
I'm young (23), but I don't think that's especially young for this subreddit
>>76830501
electronics, books, household items, shit that occurs to me that I might want that I don't think I could find at Target
I'd say cables and adapters are 70% of my amazon purchases

I work in the tourist business. Mostly renting out equipment. We have some of the worlds strongest Auroras in winter. In summer I guide people around the hiking trails.
Is your internet connection good?
Yep 80/40 Mbit/s but there is 100/100 available.

Better then a disturbingly fuckton of places in the anglo world haha. But seriosly it's distressing
I go to the local grocer or department store and buy it. Exactly what I do in real life.

Yep Sweden has really good infrastructure when it comes to internet.
There is even a free to use 3G network in big parts of this area. It's not very fast, 2-4Mbit/s but it's enough for tourists to check Facebook etc with.
(and if you ask nicely you can use the research station wifi close to the cabins, 1000Mbit/s kek)
