Does anyone here study or graduated from Foreign Affairs/ International Relations? If so, what's your experience with the career and labor field? I'm 18 and I am choosing this career, for I consider I'm interested on the international environment, geopolitics and languages.
>Studying foreign affairs
Dude you can start begging for money on the streets from now and avoid the hassle of going to """""school""", maybe learn some neat trick to do it at traffic lights?

Unless you are some ivy league smartass, change your major to CS or economics.

unless you are close friends with someone who can make you an ambassador or someone in the media (newspapers or tv) it's not worth it

In order to make it in IR, you have to have these things in order to improve your chances:
-certified fluency in several languages, English+ at least one UN language. Have you thought about studying French?
-having spent significant time abroad. Have you thought about doing a gap year and doing some volunteer work abroad in different countries?
-graduate at a top school where you did some networking
-have connections in business, politics, media etc.
