I'm pretty sure twilights occur around the entire globe. At least during summer/winter they occur more frequently here than usual.
The most striking one I saw was when I was on Iceland and there was the entire spectrum from deep dark blue through to bright yellow

i like these atmospheric scenarios but yeah, somehow you cant get these from the west anymore. some jp anime and games still keep putting these landscapes in it at least but as one of the modern flaws, its characters are too animay.
