In Canada the old Vietnamese fucking hate new Asians in general.

The old Vietnamese are usually "boat people", a term used for a massive influx of Vietnamese refugees that came to Canada in the 70s fleeing the North's victory in the war.

Those ones tend to be really good people, they work hard, integrate, have good kids and grandkids. They appreciate the lives they got to have in this country when theirs fell apart for them.

The new ones, and the new Chinese especially, tend to be really pompous and arrogant. They take the country the granted or are just straight up CCP apologists.

the same is starting to happen with Indian immigrants here now too, massive differences in how generations act and how they view each other.

That's pretty much the tend of immigrants in Canada as a whole, if they've been here a long time or are children born here from parents who've been here a long time they tend to be good people, the newer ones who came in the last decade aren't integrating, they aren't trying to be Canadian anymore and they just wall themselves off from others in little bubbles of their own culture. It's fucking awful.

In France or Switzerland it has more to do with the first wave of immigration of the 20th century.

Most of them were spanish and italians that were often voting for left parties such as the communist party because they were working in industrial factories.

They hate them. The old ones, most of them from the Balkans, Finland, Turkey or Iraq. Old immigrants speak good Swedish and sell kebab and pizza. They are nothing like the new ones. They are similar to the Hispanic refugees in the US that fled from communism.
