Never had any so far, I'd maybe try fried grasshoppers or something like that, but stuff like maggots puts me off a little.
Not insects, but I did try snails not too long ago. Not bad, a bit similar to mussels I'd say (that salty "sea taste" if it makes sense), but a bit too expensive for not being that special, so I guess I'll keep it 1-2x/year thing in the future

My sister got a free protein bar a store was giving out that was made of dried and pulverized grasshoppers (made to kind of a flour). She tried pawning it off on me. No thanks.

I have before and would make it a main diet if it's economical. My wish is that people saw food as just a means to survive, but instead we have millions of pounds of food that get wasted because someone wanted their cheesecake with strawberry swirls.
