Do Latin Africans identify themself as latins? They do speak a romance language after all. Do they have strong ties with Latin Europe?
Why would they?
I don't even identify as a Latin.

>Do Latin Africans identify themselves as Latin
Probably not
>They speak a Romance language after all
Barely, most speak native languages with colonisers language being more of a secondary language, I also doubt anyone speaks Italian in their former colonies or Spainish in West Sahara. Some countries like Algeria have kept the colonial language mainstream but still not as widely spoken as Arabic/Native African languages.
>Do they have strong ties with Latin Europe
France gets lots of immigrants from its former colonies

I've met a Mozambican. He sees himself as an African and He actually is really bitter towards white people.
Also for the pt colonies a good chunk of the population doesn't speak actual Portuguese but a creole version or as a second language

Is their Portuguese good?
Some africans really can't speak French for shit
We do have some words that are Italian (i.e. Gelato) and our cuisine was heavily influenced by the Italians (Pasta,Custard etc.)

Only if he has been decently educated. Otherwise, they just mumble
>>76762427
depends on the region and country
it can go from almost perfect portuguese to imcompreensible creole or even not even knowing the language (despite being the nation's language)
