And for specific images I'll usually make a separate folder and name it accordingly

I name them according to the template
<class> <name /id>.jpg|png|gif|webm
For example
anime asuka 1.jpg
anime phone r34 charger.jpg
pepe 5.jpg
pepe lindt.jpg
pepe smug.jpg
I have ~4000 unsorted images though.

folders:
>4 - literally all pics i save for various uses, mainly 4chan

>>(subfolder) map - i keep all maps here

>btfl pics - pics/images that are aesthetic/comfy/interesting in my opinion, but rather serious, not funny

>hinskie - (pol. chinese, written incorrectly) i save anime pics here that are worth saving in my opinion

>mu - /mu/-related pics

>nsfw - folder with pics that are turning me horny

i have some more irrelevant subfolders, it's not as organised as i'd want it to, but it being this way is good enough for me

Usually I just have a big folder I called "MEMES" and I threw everything there but I deleted it twice, now I regret it because those were some tasty memes
