I've got two flags for my flag pole, a flag on my boat, a 3x5m ceremonial "house wrapper" flag, a national pennant and a few small flags for the national day celebrations. I don't always observe flag days, like the birthdays of royalty and all that shit, but flags certainly aren't illegal

It's not illegal to fly any flag here, though.
