You must pick a 3rd world country to live in for the next 10 years. Which do you pick?

South Korea

I'd go to South Korea and be an English teacher. The pay is low but everyone in South Korea is very poor, so I'd be at least middle class

Mine
Botswana
Depends on what you consider 3rd world. The average Russian and Chinese is living in poverty, but they still have high GDPs.

I hate when people say this about the US because it's never a qualified answer. No one is really "poor" in the US because under a certain income threshold, you are entitled to government assistance for food and shelter (and in my State, healthcare). This threshold is also above the poverty line.
There are pockets where people make a reported income below the poverty line - mostly very rural areas where the people make a living farming and are primarily living off unreported (ie cash) income or very urban areas where people have low skillsets or opportunities for employment. But again, not really poverty because these individuals can collect government assistance benefits.
I'd say this is the same in most 1st World countries.
If it counts as 3rd world, I'd move to Vietnam or some other SEA country. The prospects for those countries to grow economically over the next decade are enormous.

It's actually just jealousy because all Americans live in houses for rent, while European countries have such high population densities that people have to live in small apartments.
I live in a 20 m^2 apartment, while an American i know lives in a house that his father pays for, and the house has a 120m^2 backyard. How is this fair? I mean, fucking 3rd world Americans and their poverty LOL!

But if we don't force poor people to change themselves, then we haven't tried to help them! Luckily, self-righteous fucks can show them the light and solve poverty forever.
definitely NOT usa

Well, anyway the per capita GDP of the US is a bit less than double that of Korea, so if you think so, then I can't say your wrong in ur standpoint.
